In 1946, Connecticut alumnus Hugh Greer became the head coach of UConn men’s basketball, ushering in one of their earliest eras of success as they dominated the Yankee Conference. During the early years of Greer’s tenure, the team wore this “UConns” script on their uniforms, which we replicated on this jersey.
